Whispering Nature in the Apeldoorn Photo Festival, sept. okt. 2025

A series of pinhole photographs printed on Hahnemuhle 308 gsm Photo Rag paper and framed without glass.

This series of photographs, “Whispering Nature,” was created using the pinhole technique.

Instead of a lens, a 0.2 mm hole is used, allowing for very long exposure times (10-200 seconds).

Previously, he used a tripod, but his recent work is created through camera movements, seeking a new abstraction.

This results in unique visual narratives that emphasize texture, light, and time.

These can reveal aspects of a subject or environment that conventional photography might overlook.

Indeed, it transcends the medium itself. The invisible is made visible.

In addition to a series of black-and-white and color prints, the most recent work is painted using watercolor techniques.

With thanks to the Amarte Fund for supporting this development.
