Magnetic Core Memory

  • Magnetic Core Memory 3 Private collection

  • Book, screen-print, 30 different compositions of cast iron forms. Edition of 100

Magnetic Core Memory, is the title of a collection of cast iron objects, which are derived from the so-called blisters; transparent packaging that forms the abstraction of the objects that are packed in it. The collection has been photographed in 30 combinations and has appeared in book form through screen printing. The abstracted objects work here as a visual language, as if the book tells a story which meaning is never clear. The title is derived from the first electronic memory (1 bit) invented by Mr. Wang.
