In 1983 Carel worked at different locations in The Hague with the ‘kunstkar’ (a mobile art space with a driver) of the Haags Gemeentemuseum; a community art project. He asked passers-by if they could get angry or express a pent-up anger. For this he let them squeeze a round piece of clay. The results, called anger-fossils, where numbered and hung on lines at the wall of the kunstkar. The numbers correspond with the reasons of anger. The sculpture was located in the Tax investigation office in Arnhem (FIOD) for years and is now part of the collection at the Rijnstate hospital in Arnhem.
