In 2017 Carel stayed in the Guesthouse in Cork for a short period of time and while staying there, he worked together with Mirka Farabegoli.

They made a long strip of 120 film with a pinhole camera, using an overlap technique.

In addition to this collaboration, Carel worked on its own series.
