Monument against senseless violence

Design/model for a monument against senseless violence. Vlaardingen 2011

A bronze tree is protected by a custom iron construction.

In January of the year 2000, 17-year old Daniel van Cotthem died.

He died after being hit for no reason by some juveniles at the train station of Vlaardingen Oost.

This tragedy got a lot of attention from the people of the city. The design was not executed.
